Sticks and Stones May Break My Bones, But Words Can Always Hurt Me

“Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me.” This is one of the biggest lie I’ve ever been told. The power of words are just as bad as physical pain. Watch what you say because once you say them, you can only apologize, but not take them back. You can be forgiven, but the words will never be forgotten.

  1. This video clip really touched me. I especially love the narration- it expresses the emotions of the story real well! As I was watching this, I felt my heart rip as I placed myself in all these people’s positions, feeling the way they felt, hurting the way they were hurt. I actually had a similar experience myself, a long time ago, and even to this day, I still feel it deep in my heart, poking needles inside every time I think about it.
To all those who ever been bullied- never give up!
To all those who ever bullied others- never think that the others who are weaker than you are there so you can pick on them. You don’t have the right to and they don’t deserve this treatment. No one does. And when you start, you will never be able to stop, without hurting yourself.
besides that- great video! I really loved it and I don’t think I will ever forget it 🙂

  2. Amazing video, it may me cry. Oh why do people have to be so cruel if only they could understand that words do feel like knives. I’d would rather have a broken leg than to be called ugly by someone at school. It hurts when people stay stuff like that. I hope the bullies know how it feel after watching that video and I hope all the other people that have been in similar situation know that they are not alone.

    Thank you for uploading.
