Change happens every year, month, day, hour and there is hardly anything that can be done to stop it. (Sadly time machines haven’t been invented yet…) But we know that change can be good and change can be bad. For now let us focus on the good aspects of change!
We know that change will always happen as long as the sun rises and falls every day and we have learned how to adjust; we have learned how to spare change. But we like change don’t we? For example, my AP U.S History Teacher just recently told us that we would be completely changing his whole method of teaching and that we would be performing tests and worksheets in a whole different way. Now, the class’s initial reaction was shock (as how almost all change is received) but as he progressively explained the rules and the benefits of this new system, we were hooked! I’m not going to go into detail about how it all sampled out, but it sounded like a great new way to learn even more while allowing us some more freedom in the class. It was great, or so I thought. The class after us, had a different perspective… As much as we loved it, they despised the idea and that only goes to show that not everyone can tolerate change. Although this closed-minded thinking is disappointing, I’m happy to say that I am not one of those people. I can spare change. Change is good and I seize every opportunity I can to improve upon the situation with said change. Change is a positive thing in that it helps to improve things that were once dull or inefficient.
And I’ll leave this post at this: What kind of change, positive or negative, do you think this is?
