Recently in English class we have been given an essay with a prompt of “Why I…” in which we are instructed to write about why we do a certain thing. I chose to write about why I stay home. I chose to mainly focus on the fact that I stay home because I view my home as a haven and a refuge from the harsh judgement of society. My essay can be encompassed with this song. When I think of this song, I think of coming home after a really long and tough day at school and seeking comfort in my inviting bed. I can imagine the warmth and love that my home would give me after a challenging day. It’s mellow and calming tune allows me to relax and really unwind. I hope you enjoy this song as much as I do!
